What's New in CStoreOffice®: Release 20.1.0

This page is intended to inform Petrosoft customers about new CStoreOffice® release features and improvements. It contains overviews of new features and improvements with detailed information in the form of screen shots, links to the corresponding Petrosoft Cloud help sections and videos.

Release Sections

Settings

New! CStoreOffice® now attempts to automatically map unknown MOPs received in shift reports to MOPs registered in the system.

UI Changes: None.

New! The product switcher has been enhanced to unify Petrosoft web portals.

WhereCStoreOffice® and all cloud-based Petrosoft products, Customer Portal, Petrosoft University portal.

UI Changes:

  • The product switcher is now available in all Petrosoft web portals and cloud-based products.
  • It contains now the links to all active Petrosoft products, including the Customer Portal and the Petrosoft University portal.
  • The switcher's design has been updated and unified to be the same on all Petrosoft web portals.

Improved! The deprecated Mail functionality has been eliminated from CStoreOffice®. All CStoreOffice® notifications will continue to be delivered via personal emails stated in the Account Info or Employee forms.

UI Changes: The Mail functionality has been removed from the following pages in CStoreOffice®:

  • Settings > Admin > Mail.

  • Home page > left section, including the Beta mode:

Improved! The Docflow DPC Support settings can now be edited only by system users.

UI Changes: The Docflow DPC Support section is now displayed only to system users.

Improved! The Mobile Assistant and Working Hours settings have been moved under the MISC settings.

Inventory

Improved! If a new unit cost or case cost is entered in the Manual Invoice Entry form, the most recent cost value is now displayed in the Item Setup and Price Management forms.

Improved! The Stick Reading Manuals are now available in Petrosoft University Portal in case you need to use them as a reference while managing your fuel inventory.

UI Changes: The link to Stick Reading Manuals has been moved from CStoreOffice® form to Petrosoft University Portal at Data Entry > Fuel Inventory > Related Links > Stick Reading Manual.

Improved! The Add New Items functionality has been renamed to the Enter By New Method.

Where: The following forms have been updated:

  • Data Entry > StoreBuydowns.
  • Data Entry > Store > Price Change.
  • Inventory > Write-Offs.

UI Changes: The Add New Items link and form have been renamed to the Enter By New Method link and form in the listed above forms.

Merchandise Ordering Dashboard

Improved! The Merchandise Orders dashboard is now permission-based.

WhereInventory > Orders > Merchandise.

UI Changes: A new Dashboards/Merchandise Ordering component has been added to the permissions list.

Improved! The Vendor identifier (ID) is now displayed in the Orders and Invoices Timeline widget. It is now also possible to search a vendor to be added to the widget by its identifier.

UI Changes: The Vendor ID value is now displayed to the left of the vendor's name in the following forms:

  • The Orders and Invoices Timeline widget.
  • The Widget Settings form.

Price Book

Improved! In the Global Items Log report, the change events are now sorted by date.

UI Changes: In the events list, events are now sorted by date.

Improved! To ensure the data consistency, the items can now be deleted only at the account (not station) level.

UI Changes: The Delete button has been removed from the Item Setup form opened at the station level.

Vendors

Improved! The process of EDI vendor setup has been simplified to let customers add EDI vendors on their own.

UI Changes: The Vendor form has been reworked to allow users to add merchandise and EDI vendors to the system.

Reports

Improved! In inventory reports, several improvements have been made.

UI Changes: The following improvements have been introduced:

  • The currency sign has been moved to the table heading in the report.
  • When the report data is exported to Excel, numbers are presented as numeric values in the spreadsheet.

Improved! In the Item Movement report, all item sales for one shift are now displayed as total sales.

WherePrice Book > Items > Item Movement.

UI Changes: The item sales for one shift are now displayed as the total in a single line, not as separate sales in separate lines.

Improved! In Category Inventory Levels and GPM Explanation reports, calculation of GPM can be disabled for categories having inaccurate retail or cost values.

Improved! In Tobacco Scan Data Supporting PMUSA and Tobacco Scan Data Supporting RJR reports, the list of measurement units used has been extended.

The list of possible units of measurement now includes:

  • Each
  • 2 Pack
  • 3 Pack
  • Roll
  • Carton

UI Changes: No.

Improved! In the Accepted PLU Batch Updates report, a vertical scroll is added to the list of updates, allowing you to easily access and view update details.

Where: Cash Register Updates Manager > Accepted PLU Batch Updates.

UI Changes: A vertical scroll is added to the PLU Batch updates list.

Improved! In the Cash Register Journal report, several improvements for time filters have been implemented.

The list of improvements includes the following ones:

  • For predefined report periods, the time values are now automatically set to 12:00:00 AM for the From field and 11:59:59 PM for the To field.
  • In the To and From fields, it is now possible to specify the time interval up to seconds.

UI Changes:

  • In the From and To fields, the time values are set to 12:00:00 AM and 11:59:59 PM by default.
  • In the time format, seconds are added.

Improved! In shift reports, the time format has been updated to include seconds.

UI Changes: The time values in shift reports are now specified in the hh:mm:ss format.

Improved! The Operating Profit Estimates report now allows drilling down into detailed kerosene and diesel sales data.

WhereReports > AccountingAccountant Reports > Operating Profit Estimates.

UI Changes: When clicking the Kerosene Sales and Diesel Sales lines in the report, the user is now taken to the Kerosene / Diesel Sales report.
