House Accounts
New! House accounts can now be created and managed for your location in SmartPOS. UI Changes: On the House Acc tab, you can view and manage house accounts for the current location. For details, see House Accounts.

New! Face-based transactions are now available for house account holders in SmartPOS. Cashiers can identify a house account holder by the house account ID and name in SmartPOS. The following transactions are available for the house account holders:
By default, the refund is disabled for the house account MOP. See Configure House Account MOP for details on configuring the house account MOP. |
New! The transactions performed with house accounts in SmartPOS are present in the CStoreOffice® reports. This is an example of the cash register report including the transactions performed with house accounts that were set up in SmartPOS: |
Discounts
New! Discounts can now be configured to apply automatically for any MOP. A discount can be configured to apply to multiple MOPs. UI Changes: the Auto-apply when MOP chosen list was added to the discount setup form:

Improved! It is easier for stores to participate in discount programs with the new Auto-apply when MOP chosen option for discounts in SmartPOS. Once a discount is configured to apply automatically for a specific MOP, cashiers no longer need to select the discount every time when a store customer qualifies for the discount and pays with the MOP the discount was configured for. |
Scanners
New! SmartPOS identifies a barcode scanner in the HID mode connected with USB as a generic barcode scanner automatically. |
