What's New in CStoreOffice®: Release 24.0.0

This page is intended to inform Petrosoft customers about new CStoreOffice® release features and improvements. It contains overview of the new features and improvements with detailed information in the form of screen shots, links to the corresponding Petrosoft University Portal sections and videos.

The next release is planned for November 29, 2023. However, some of the improvements and fixes might be available earlier so that all customers could take advantage of the improvements and the ones who requested fixes could have their requests fulfilled.

Release Sections

General

New! Notification Center informs an authorized user about events and prompts for actions in CStoreOffice®.

UI Changes:

  • The bell icon is added left to the user name. Sticker over the icon shows number of unread notifications.
  • Click the bell to view the notifications. A notification may contain a message only or a message with button redirecting to the page where actions are recommended. Notifications containing a message only are considered read after hovering the cursor over the message. Notifications containing a message with button are considered read after the clicking the button.

New! Customer Automated System Helper (C.A.S.H) is the Petrosoft AI helping the CStoreOffice® users to resolve issues online.

UI Changes: The AI processes the issue description and provides information on possible ways to resolve the issue in the chat.

Data Entry

New! The ATG offline status icon appears on the Home page of CStoreOffice® if there are issues with the ATG connection.

UI Changes:

  • The tank icon with red cross on it is shown left to the station name on the Home page in case of issues with the ATG connection.

  • Hover the cursor over the tank icon to learn details about the ATG connection status.
  • The Check Now button allows you to check the ATG connection status before the next automatic connection monitoring that occurs every 10 minutes.

  • The tank icon with red cross disappears when CStoreOffice® regains the connection with ATG.

EDI

New! Notifications about missing EDI invoices from a specific vendor for the current location in CStoreOffice®.

An EDI invoice is considered missing if it is not received in the expected time for the current location. The expected time is an average interval between the invoices from a specific vendor for the current location.

UI Changes: Notifications about missing EDI invoices appear in the following places of CStoreOffice®:

New! Use new Search Missing Invoices widget to search for missing EDI invoices.

WhereReports > Dashboards

UI Changes: The Search Missing Invoices widget is a default widget on the Merchandise Orders dashboard. You can add this widget to any other dashboard in the Reports section.

Price Book

New! Active loyalty promotions are now displayed in Cash Register Updates Manager.

UI Changes: A new Active Loyalty Promotions section is displayed on the Cash Register Updates Manager page.

New! New fields are available as search criteria in the Find and Replace Tool for promotions.

WherePrice Book > Promotions

UI Changes: The following new values are available in the Field drop-down list:

  • Type: select this value to filter by certain supported promotions types.
  • Loyalty Program Code: select this value to filter promotions by a loyalty program code.
  • Created by Altria: select this value to filter promotions created by Altria.

Reports

Improved! Maximum period for custom date is limited to 20 years for all CStoreOffice® reports.

UI Changes: Dates exceeding a twenty-years period from the starting date are disabled in the calendar.

Improved! You can select vendors to be excluded from the Aim Export report.

UI Changes: New Exclude Vendors field is present in the list of parameters on the Aim Export report page. This field is empty by default. Click Add to add vendors to be excluded from the report.

Settings

Improved! All the ATG settings are gathered in the ATG section of the Station Options page.

WhereSettings > General > Locations > Station Options page > ATG section

UI Changes: The Simple and Advanced views were implemented for the ATG section on the Station Options page. The Advanced view allows you to configure all the ATG settings.
