New Items Report

This section describes the specifics of accessing and interpreting the New Items report.

Opening the Report

You can open the report by clicking the New Items link in the Itemized Inventory form, under the Exceptions subsection.

The New Items link is displayed, if there are items discovered on the shelves, but for some reasons they do not exist in the CStoreOffice® price book. The number of such items is displayed to the right of the link.

Viewing the New Items Report

The New Items report displays the items that are discovered on the shelves, but for some reasons they do not exist in the system. With the New Items report, you can check such new items and add them into the system.

The report contains the following information:

  • PLU: The PLU of the new item.
  • UPC: The UPC of the new item.
  • Description: The reason why the item is not in the system.
  • CR Name: The CR name of the new item, if any.
  • Size: The size of the new item, if any.
  • Department: The department name of the new item, if any.
  • Category: The category name of the new item, if any.
  • Price Group: The price group name of the new item, if any.
  • Promo Group: The promo group name of the new item, if any.
  • Current Retail: The current retail value of the new item, if any.

Filtering and Sorting Report Data

To get the exact information you need, you can apply filters to the report. To set up a filter, select one or more filtering options. Once the filter is set up, at the bottom of the filter section, click the Refresh button to display the report data by the filter criteria.

The report provides the following filtering and sorting options:

  • advanced. Click the advanced button, select one several filtering options you want, and then click Refresh. There are the following advanced filtering options available:
  • Subtotal by. Select one or several filtering options to break down the report results by the specified criteria.
  • Sort by. Select the order of the report columns you want.

    Press CTRL, to select several items at a time in each column.
