At the Preparing the Site for CStoreOffice® step, you need to make sure your site and locations are prepared for proper communication with CStoreOffice®.
CStoreOffice® communicates with cash registers set up at locations over the DC Box. The DC Box is an integration network terminal that "bridges" the cash register and back-office system and enables bi-directional data transfer between them.
The DC Box is typically installed and configured by Petrosoft technicians, either locally or remotely. Before the installation process, you need to prepare your work environment for the DC Box. You will have to validate and check the following areas:
