What's New in SmartPOS: Release 3.26

This article provides information about new features and improvements introduced in SmartPOS release version 3.26.

In addition to features listed below, the release also includes a number of stability improvements and fixes which do not extend the product functionality or change the user experience.

New features and improvements

Tax reports

New feature. SmartPOS now automatically generates tax reports based on monthly sales.

Monthly tax reports are available in SmartPOS Reports screen.

The detailed tax report can be printed on the connected receipt printer.

AI-powered assistant

New feature.Petrosoft AI assistant for your SmartPOS can be accessed from your mobile device.

You can use Petrosoft AI-powered assistant for instant answers, detailed guidance and automatic technical support requests.The assistant supports multiple languages and understands natural, conversational speech, allowing you to ask questions in your own words — no need for specific commands or keywords.

To access the assistant from your mobile device:

  1. Tap the question button in the top-right corner of the SmartPOSscreen and choose Remote Support.
  2. Scan the QR code with your mobile device.
  3. Ask your question or describe the problem. Be as precise as possible - the more information you provide, the better AI assistant can address your needs.
    If you need further assistance, ask the AI assistant to connect you with a live person. Simply type "get me a live person", "call an agent", "quiero hablar con una persona," and the like and wait for a live person to join the chat.

To better assist you, the AI assistant collects information for a support case as you chat. This helps us find the right answer quickly or automatically create a support request based on your conversation history if you cannot resolve the problem or the live specialist is unavailable to assist you.
