Fuel prices

The Fuel Prices block provides detailed price information for each fuel type and enables centralized management of fuel prices directly on cash registers. This feature also allows you to view historical pricing data, making it easier to review past rates and gain valuable insights.

Tap the graph to explore prices for each fuel type on a specific date.

Fuel price management

Centralized fuel price management currently supports Passport, Radiant, SmartPOS, and Verifone POS systems.

Retail 360 Mobile simplifies fuel price management by allowing you to update prices on connected cash registers remotely from a single location, eliminating the need for on-site visits. To change fuel prices for a selected location, tap the Manage Fuel Prices button below the fuel price history graph.

The changes apply only to the selected station's cash register. To update prices on another cash register, select the desired station from the Dashboard screen before navigating to Fuel Prices Management.

On the Fuel Prices Management screen:

  1. Select the service tier to which the price updates will apply by tapping the corresponding button at the top of the screen. Service tiers typically align with specific time periods, such as day or night shifts.
The tiers displayed in Retail 360 Mobile correspond to those configured on the selected location's cash register. For further details, refer to the cash register configuration settings.
  2. Select the fuel product type by tapping the corresponding button or scrolling down the screen.
  3. To bulk update all prices for a specific fuel type by a fixed amount, tap icon next to the fuel type. Then, select the amount by which to increase or decrease prices across all service levels and methods of payment (MOP) from the dropdown menu.

  4. Scroll down to the service level you want to change the prices for.
The available service levels and their names correspond to the cash register settings.
  5. To bulk update all prices for a specific service level by a fixed amount, tap icon next to the fuel type. Then, select the amount by which to increase or decrease prices across all payment methods from the dropdown menu.

  6. Update prices for specific payment methods, such as cash, credit card, and the like. Tap the field with the current price and enter a new amount.
The available payment methods correspond to the cash register MOP settings.
  7. The updated price will appear in a yellow badge to the right of the current price, clearly indicating that the change has not yet been submitted.
  8. Perform the steps 1-4 to change prices for other fuel types, tiers, service levels and MOPs.
  9. Once you are done, swipe up on the Submit button to confirm the changes and send them to the cash register.

Fuel price changes sent to the cash register must be explicitly accepted on the cash register side in order to be applied. For instructions on how to accept price change requests, refer to the cash register user manual. Until the prices are accepted on the cash register, the price change request will remain in pending status, with the updated prices shown on the Fuel Prices Management screen as green badges to the right of the current price, indicating that the new prices have not yet been applied.

Once the new prices are accepted, the badge will disappear, and the updated prices will replace the original ones.

If price changes are not accepted on the cash register within 2 hours, a notification will appear, offering you one of the following options:

  • Revise: Review and adjust the fuel price changes, for example if they were not accepted due to an obvious typo. Once corrected, you can manually re-submit the updated prices.
  • Re-submit: Resend the price changes to the cash register without making any updates. This is recommended if you suspect the changes were missed by the cash register operator.
  • Ignore: Hide the notification without taking any action. The changes will be saved in a pending state, allowing you to review and re-submit them later.

If you update and submit new fuel prices while the previous price change request is still pending, the new request will only be sent once the previous one is either accepted or declined after the 2-hour timeout period.

  • Synchronization occurs automatically every 24 hours or immediately after saving changes to the cash register mapping in CStoreOffice®.

  • For SmartPOS cash registers, first send fuel prices to the cash register from CStoreOffice®.
