Setting Up Item Taxes

In CStoreOffice®, you can use different ways for applying taxes to items depending on the local taxation. You can apply taxes to the items either at the department or at the item level.

Before setting up taxes for the items, make sure the taxation is properly configured at the federal, state, county, and municipality levels. For details, see Taxation Setup.

To set up taxes for items, you need to perform the following activities:

  1. Configure taxation strategy for the cash register.
  2. Set up item taxes.
