In CStoreOffice®, you can use different ways for applying taxes to items depending on the local taxation. You can apply taxes to the items either at the department or at the item level.
Before setting up taxes for the items, make sure the taxation is properly configured at the federal, state, county, and municipality levels. For details, see Taxation Setup.
Cash Registers Limitations
Taxes uploaded to the Bulloch cash registers of the BT9000 and BT9000(PC) CR models shall be configured in the following ways:
- Version 05XXXX:
- <PST_On_Item> - Tax 1 field
- <GST_On_Item> - Tax 2 field
- Version 06XXXX:
- <TAX1> - Tax 1 field
- <TAX2> - Tax 2 field
- <TAX3> - Tax 3 field
- <TAX4> - Tax 4 field
