Monitoring POS and BOS Connections

DC-401 device is no longer available for purchase. It has been replaced by DC-420, which offers the same features and functionality. Since both models are identical from the user experience and UI part, they will be collectively referred to as the DC-400 series.

To check the connection status of the POS and back-office system, you can use the POS/BOS Push Synchronization module in the DC Box portal. The POS/BOS Push Synchronization module is a monitoring tool that allows you to view statistics about data imported and exported to and from the POS and back-office system. You can use this module to identify connection problems, ensure that data between the POS and back-office system is transferred in the proper way and troubleshoot errors.

At present, the POS/BOS Push Synchronization module can be used only for locations with Radiant, Nucleus, and Verifone cash registers.

To work with the POS/BOS Push Synchronization module, you can perform the following activities:

  1. Access the POS/BOS Push Synchronization module
  2. Monitor POS/BOS Connections
