What's New in SmartPOS: Release 3.8

Improved! Two more models of the PAX PIN Pads are now supported by SmartPOS:

• PAX A80
• PAX Aries8

Please note that the A80 and Aries8 PAX PIN Pads are Android-based. Before you start using them, you need to launch the Gateway application first.

UI Changes: None.

Improved! It is now possible to set the maximum quantity of items to be sold within transaction.

Where: SmartPOS and CStoreOffice®.

UI Changes: The following updates have been implemented:

• A new Transaction Quantity Limit field has been added to the following forms:
• The Department setup form.

  

• The Item setup form

  

• A new Transaction quantity limit is exceeded warning message has been implemented. It is displayed at the Cashier's screen if the added item's quantity exceeds the transaction quantity limit which is set for the item or department.
