Opening Report

You can find the report at Reports > Store > Volume and state > Distributor's Malt Beverage. For more information, see Viewing Reports.

Viewing Report

The Distributor's Malt Beverage report provides information on the malt beverage items movement for the selected vendor, station and period. The report represents a cross table, providing information for the following groups (to expand a group, click the group label in the report table):

  • Beginning Inventory: Items inventory at the beginning of the selected period.
  • Unit Purchases, State: Number of items purchased within the state.
  • Unit Purchases, Imports: Number of items purchased outside the country.
  • Total: Total number of items at the beginning of the selected period plus all purchased items.
  • Short/Over: Number of items short\over for the selected period.
  • Ending Inventory: Items inventory at the end of the selected period.
  • Balance to Account: Difference between the beginning inventory plus all purchased items and the ending inventory.
  • Unit Sales: Number of sold items.
  • Unit spoilage and store use: Number of items spoiled or used for internal store needs.
  • Total Unit Sales, Spoilage and Store Use: Total items sold and used.

For each item, the report displays the following information:

  • Vendor
  • Manufacturer
  • UPC
  • Item name
  • Size
  • Sold Quantity
  • Measure
  • Custom item tags you selected using the Show Columns filtering option

Filtering Report Data

To get the exact information you need, you can apply filters to the report. To set up a filter, select one or more filtering options. Once the filter is set up, at the bottom of the filter section, click the Refresh button to display the report data by the filter criteria.

The report provides the following filtering options:

  • Date. Specify the date you are interested in manually using calendar or select the period from the list and click Refresh.
  • Station. From the Station list, select the station you are interested in.
  • advanced. Click the advanced button, select one several filtering options you want, and then click Refresh. There are the following advanced filtering options available:
  • Show Columns. Select the item tags set up specifically for the malt beverage items and select the items with this tag.
  • Filter By Vendors. Select the malt beverage vendors you are interested in. A vendor can belong to one of the following groups:
  • Import Vendors - vendor country is other than the USA.
  • Country - vendor country is the USA, but the vendor state is other than the location state.
  • State - vendor country is the USA, and the vendor state is the same as the location state.
    To generate a report for a single vendor, select the vendor name in the appropriate column. To generate a report for multiple vendors, press and hold the SHIFT key on the keyboard and select the necessary vendors.
  • Filter By Manufacturers. If necessary, select the malt beverage manufacturers you are interested in.

Press CTRL to select several items at a time.
