Vendor Balance Summary Report

This section describes the specifics of accessing and interpreting the Vendor Balance Summary report.

Opening the Report

You can find the report at Reports > Accounting > Manage Accounts Payable.

The report is available only at the company level. Before opening the report, in the list to the left of the reports list, select the company you need:

Viewing the Report

The Vendor Balance Summary report provides the general information on company's debts and overpayments to the specific vendors. The general purpose of this report is to catch the accounting discrepancies. To view the vendor's balance in more details, view the Vendor Balance Detailed report.

The report contains the following information:

  • Vendor: The vendor specified in the filtering options above or all vendors available for the company.
  • Balance: The amount due to the specific vendor or the credit amount/overpayment (marked with brackets).
  • Totals: The total amount due or overpaid to the specified vendors.

Filtering and Sorting the Report Data

To get the exact information you need, you can apply filters to the report. To set up a filter, select one or more filtering options. Once the filter is set up, at the bottom of the filter section, click the Refresh button to display the report data by the filter criteria.

The report provides the following filtering options:

  • Date: Select the date you are interested in from the calendar and click Refresh.
  • Classes: Select the class/station you want from the corresponding list, and then click Refresh.
  • Vendor: Select the vendor you are interested in and click Refresh.

Press CTRL, to select several items at a time.

Additional Actions

To view the Vendor Balance Detailed report, click the amount for the vendor.

To reload the form, click Refresh.

To print the report, click Print Version.

To view the report in the Excel version, click Excel Version.

To open the Petrosoft University Portal, click Help.

To create a ticket, click Feedback.
