Integrating with LottoShield

LottoShield is an automated lottery management system. Through integration with Petrosoft Cloud via the Business Documents API, it enables seamless tracking and security of your lottery inventory. This integration reduces losses, eliminates human errors, lowers administrative overhead, and and improves efficiency by automating workflows.

Onboarding

Onboarding with LottoShield is quick and straightforward, designed to get you up and running with minimal effort.

  1. Sign up with LottoShield.
  2. Inform LottoShield that you need to integrate with Petrosoft Cloud and will require the creation of an email address in the format [CustomerName].api@lottoshield.net, where [CustomerName] should be replaced with your company name.
For example, if your company name is Acme Inc., the email address should be acme.api@lottoshield.net.
  3. You will need this email address to create a service account at Petrosoft. See Step 4 for details.

  4. Purchase Business Documents API subscription and assign it to your business unit.
  5. Create a dedicated service account for LottoShield integration in CStoreOffice®. From the CStoreOffice® main page, go to Settings > General > Employees, click New, and fill in the required details. In the Authentication Email field, use the email [CustomerName].api@lottoshield.net that you have received in Step 2. Read the Creating an API User article for more information.
  6. If you do not have administrative permissions for CStoreOffice®, contact your system administrator to create an account for you.

Using this email address ensures that your integration account will not require regular password updates. This helps avoid interruptions of automated processes and integrations.

  1. Inform the LottoShield representative at andrew@lottoshield.com that the Business Documents API has been activated on the Petrosoft side, so they can proceed with the configuration on the LottoShield side.
Please mention the full account's credentials (email address and password used in the Step 4) in the email.
