Activating SmartPOS

To activate your SmartPOS, follow these steps:

  1. You will need the Retail360 mobile app to activate your SmartPOS. To get this app, scan the QR code in the lower left part of the SmartPOS screen with your phone, then download the app.

    Alternatively, you can find this app in App Store or Google Play yourself.

  2. Open the Retail360 app.
  3. If you have no CStoreOffice® or Retail 360 subscription and use the app for the first time,
    swipe left to the Sign Up form. Enter your first name, last name, email, phone number, and make a password. Tap the check box to agree to the policy. In the lower menu, select Sign Up and swipe up.

    Activate your account by following the instructions sent to your email. After activating your account, select Continue to Sign In in the lower menu and swipe up.

    On the Sign In form, select Sign In in the lower menu and swipe up.

  4. If you already have the CStoreOffice® or Retail 360 subscription, enter subscription email and password and swipe up.

  5. In the upper menu of the app, swipe left and select Devices.
  6. In the devices list, tap Activate a New Device.

    The Add a New Device button hides as you swipe the devices list up. To reveal this button, swipe down the list. The button appears as you reach the list top.

  7. Do the following:
  8. If you have only one location, go to the next step as this location will be chosen automatically.
  9. If you have several locations, tap the location where the device is installed.

  10. Scan the QR code in the lower left part of the screen of your SmartPOS device with the camera of your mobile device.


    Result: The SmartPOS screen with the location name and MAC address appears.

  11. In the lower menu, select Connect to Petrosoft Cloud and swipe up.
  12. Make sure the SmartPOS device is installed and connected properly.
  13. In the lower menu, select Start Connection and swipe up.

  14. Wait for your SmartPOS device to connect to the Petrosoft Cloud.

  15. When your SmartPOS device successfully connects to the Petrosoft Cloud, the status will change from In Progress to Connected.


    Result: After successful activation, color of the banner with the QR code in the lower left part of the screen changes to dark blue.
