Satellite Export Report
This section describes the specifics of accessing and interpreting the Satellite Export report.
The Satellite Export report allows you to export information about fuel sales, department sales and lottery sales during a specific shift from CStoreOffice®.
Working with the Report

Opening the Report
To open the Satellite Export report:
- From the CStoreOffice® home page, go to Reports > Accounting.
- Select the report view level. The report is available at all levels:
- Account: To export data for several or all account stations.
- Division or Company: To export data for several or all division or company stations.
- Station: To export data for a certain station only.

Setting Up the Data Export
To set up export of sales data with the Satellite Export report:
- At the top of the report form, use the date and time fields to define the period of time for which you want to export sales data.
- Check the Your Account Time Zone field. The time zone for your account is determined automatically.
- Select the Include Department Sales check box to include information about department sales to the report.
- Select the DST check box to adjust the scheduled report time during the Daylight Saving Time period. This options helps make sure that the report is sent or saved at the correct time.
- In the Transport field, select the transport method that must be used to deliver the exported data to the necessary destination:
- REST: Select this option to export the sales data using REST API. In the field below, specify the REST URI.
- FTP: Select this option to export the sales data to the FTP server. In the FTP section, specify the FTP host name, path to the folder on the server, username and password to connect to the server.
- SFTP: Select this option to export the sales data to the SFTP server. In the SFTP section, specify the SFTP host name, path to the folder on the server, username and password to connect to the server.
- In the Sending Delay field, specify the number of days for which export of the report data must be delayed. By default, the report data is exported with a 1 day delay, that is, CStoreOffice® sends the report data for accepted shifts for the previous day. You can set any delay you need. The minimum delay is 1 day, the maximum delay is 30 days.
- In the stations list, select the check boxes next to the stations whose data you want to export.
- If you want to run the report automatically, use the Day and Time lists to define days and time when the report must be automatically exported.
- At the top of the report form, click the Save button.
Result: The specified report settings are saved. If you have scheduled the report, the report will be run with the specified settings at the time you have defined.
Running the Report
The Satellite Export report can be run in the following ways:
- Manually: To run the report manually, set up the export data and click the Download button at the top of the report form. As a result, the sales data will be downloaded to your local computer.
- Automatically: If you have scheduled the report to be run on specific days, the sales data will be exported automatically by the specified schedule and saved to the specified destination.
If you make changes in shifts, you need to manually re-run the report to obtain the correct data.
Viewing the XML Schema
To view the XML scheme by which the data is exported, at the top of the report form, click the View XML Schema button.
Viewing the Export Log
To make sure that the sales data has been exported successfully, you can view transmission logs for the Satellite Export report. You can view the latest log or all logs for a specific period.
Viewing Latest Transmission Log
To view the latest transmission log:
- Go to Reports > Accounting > Export Data > Satellite Export.
- At the bottom of the report form, click the Show/Hide Last Transmission log link.
Result: Details of the latest data transport task are displayed.
Viewing All Log Records for a Specific Period
To view all log records for a specific period:
- Go to Reports > Accounting > Export Data > Satellite Export.
- At the bottom of the report form, click the Satellite Export Log link.
- In the displayed window, specify the period for which you want to view log records and click the Refresh button.
- To view details of the necessary record, click it in the list.
Result: Details of the necessary transport task are displayed.
