POS Connection
This is not a problem. For some POS systems, you are only required to select the POS type. No network connection from the QwickServe Ordering Terminal to the POS is required, and you do not have to configure any settings. So you will not see the fields to specify the IP address, user name, password and similar data.
Do the following:
- At the top of the screen of the QwickServe device, tap and hold on the red stripe and wait until the login screen is displayed (approximately for 5 seconds).
- On the login screen, select a user with owner access rights and enter his or her PIN to authorize in the administrative interface.
- In the right menu of the administrative interface, tap Payments.
- Tap the Register (POS) Integration tab.
- Make sure the Print Order UPC-A Barcode on the Receipt option is enabled. If the option is not enabled, enable it and at the bottom right corner, tap the Save button.
(For Verifone Sapphire) Do the following:
- At the top of the screen of the QwickServe Order Manager, tap and hold on the red stripe and wait until the login screen is displayed (approximately for 5 seconds).
- On the login screen, select a user with owner access rights and enter his or her PIN to authorize in the administrative interface.
- In the right menu of the administrative interface, tap Paymets.
- Tap the Register (POS) Integration tab.
- Make sure you tap the Configure Register button. This button uploads the required Price Book items to the POS and allows accepting barcodes from QwickServe receipts.
- At the bottom right corner, tap the Save button.
This may happen if you are using a third party back-office system with the POS. Do the following:
- At the top of the screen of the QwickServe Order Manager, tap and hold on the red stripe and wait until the login screen is displayed (approximately for 5 seconds).
- On the login screen, select a user with owner access rights and enter his or her PIN to authorize in the administrative interface.
- In the administrative interface, tap the Register tab.
- Tap the Configure Register button.
- At the bottom right corner, tap the Save button.
Check the connections and firewall settings. If you require POS integration, you must allow QwickServe to access your location network segment where the POS resides.
