Setting Up CipherLab RS51
CipherLab RS51 is shipped to the locations ready-to-use with all preconfigured settings.
If you need to reset your CipherLab RS51 completely and set it up once again, use the procedure below.
Before you start to set up the CipherLab RS51, make sure you have a Google Account as it will be required during the setup procedure. A Google Account is also needed to receive the software updates on the CipherLab RS51.
To set up the CipherLab RS51:
- Unpack the device.
- Install the device battery.
- Turn on the device.
Result: Welcome screen opens. - In the Welcome screen, tap Start.
- In the Connect to the mobile network screen, tap Skip.
- In the Connect to Wi-Fi screen, tap the name of the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to.
- In the Copy apps & data screen, tap Set up as new.
- In the Sign in screen, sign into your Google account, tap Next and then tap I agree.
- In the Protect your phone screen:
- Tap Not now
- In the Skip screen lock message, tap Skip anyway.
If you want to protect your phone, select one of the available options Pattern, PIN, or Password, and complete the protection procedure.
If you need to back up your data, tap Copy your data and follow the further steps to complete the data backup process.
- In the Access your assistant with Voice Match screen, tap No thanks.
- In the Google Services screen:
- Tap More twice.
- Tap Accept.
- In the Anything else? screen, tap No thanks.
- In the Accelerated Location screen, tap Next.
- In the Select a Home app screen:
- Tap Launcher 3.
- Tap Always.
- From the Google Play Market, download and install the following applications:
- Team Viewer Quick Support
- Retail 360 Mobile
