Enabling the Reconcile Deposits Functionality
In some cases, the reconcile deposits functionality may be disabled for the location. In this case, when you access the Reconcile Deposits form, you may see the following message:
'Reconcile Deposits functionality is disabled for your station.'
To enable the reconcile deposits functionality, you must do the following:
- Enable the Requires cash deposit assignment option
- Set up proper data types for the location
- Grant access to the Reconcile Deposits form to the user
- Define whether the reconcile deposits data can be edited for the past periods
Enabling the Requires cash deposit assignment option
To enable the Requires cash deposit assignment option for the location:
- From the CStoreOffice® home page, go to Settings > General > Locations.
- In the locations list, select the location for which the functionality must be enabled and at the top right of the list, click Edit.
- In the left pane, select MISC.
- Make sure the Requires cash deposit assignment check box is selected. If not, select it and at the bottom of the page, click Save to save the changes.

Setting Up Proper Data Types for the Location
Enabling To set up proper data types for the location:
- From the CStoreOffice® home page, go to Settings > Company > Transaction Assignment.
- On the Transaction Assignment tab, make sure the following data types are set up:
If these data types are not available in the list, add them. For more details, see Adding a New Data Type.
Granting Access to the Reconcile Deposits Form
To grant access to the Reconcile Deposits form to the user or to the user role:
- Go to the user or role permissions list.
- In the Data Entry > Related Components, turn on the Reconcile deposits form permission.
- At the bottom of the list, click Save.

Setting Up the Reconcile Deposits Data Editing for Past Periods
The Reconcile Deposits data editing can be forbidden for the past periods, which include all previous working days before current working day. It can be done in the account settings only by the user with the system role.
