Transparent discounts for cash payments

Enhancement. SmartPOS now displays cash discounts on cashier and customer screens before payment to ensure regulatory compliance. To help store owners comply with state and local consumer protection laws regarding cash discounting, SmartPOS automatically calculates and displays the cash discount amount before payment, rather than applying the discount as change. The discount amount and resulting total for cash payments are displayed on both the cashier screen and the customer-facing display.
This enhancement eliminates manual cashier adjustments and ensuring receipts clearly record the final total. |
