Cheap Solution
New! The SmartPOS application can now be launched on DC-401. Screens with a 16:9 display ratio and the 1366x768 resolution with a touchpad can now be used as the cashier’s screen. Where: SmartPOS UI and system. UI changes: All SmartPOS views have been optimized to the 16:9 display ratio. |
Cashier's Screen
New! On the 16:9 display ratio screens, SmartPOS now displays information about current promotions available for items in the item queue. Where: Cashier's screen. UI changes: The Upsale Widget displaying information about current promotions has been added to the left of the cashier's screen. |
Improved! The Post Pay mode in the Fuel module now supports the House Account method of payment. Where: Cashier's screen > Fuel tab > Postpay mode.

Price Book
New! It is now possible to define if direct sales should be allowed or prohibited for a department. Where: Price Book > Departments. UI changes: The Allow direct sale check box has been added to the Departments view. The check box in SmartPOS reflects the direct sales setting specified for the CR department in CStoreOffice®. To be able to use this functionality, enable the Send 'Allow Direct Sales' CR Department attribute to cash registers option in the station cash register settings in CStoreOffice®. |
Other
New! SmartPOS starts to collect product usage statistic (CPU usage, free space on HDD, memory usage and so on), which allows detecting any issues before they affect your business. If you want to disable gathering statistics about the product usage, just turn off the Send POS data to Google Analytics option in SmartPOS settings. UI Changes: The Send POS data to Google Analytics check box has been added. |
