What's New in QwickServe: February/2018 Release

This section contains the information on the QwickServe software and hardware new features and changes in scope of the current version of the February/2018 release.

Back-Office

New

 

Made-to-order items can now be sold directly at the cash registers without QwickServe Ordering Kiosk. After the sale, base ingredients of these items are included into CStoreOffice® reports and inventory.

Recipe Cost is now calculated considering fractional parts of base ingredients quantity.

Deleted items participating in QwickServe orders are now displayed properly at the Department Sales report - in their respective departments instead of QwickServe department.

QwickServe Terminal, QwickServe QwickServe Order Manager

A new networking has been implemented at the facility level for improving stability and data consistency during ordering and order preparation processes.
Where:QwickServe Terminal, QwickServe KDU.

Taxes settings at QwickServe Terminal and cash registers have been synchronized to prevent resetting tax on cash registers. For proper calculation of the order total when the tax is assigned in QwickServe department and this barcode is scanned at the cash register, tax amount is now excluded from UPC barcode printed on a receipt.

Delays in receiving payment statuses from Passport cash registers have been reduced to a maximum of 15 seconds. Payment statuses are now received without data loss.

A new algorithm has been implemented for achieving orders synchronization and reducing traffic sent to back-office.
