August release highlights

QwickServe Terminal

A new feature has been implemented. Currently the client's cart is displayed in the right pane throughout the ordering process. The cart shows complete information about each item in the order, including the number of calories and the state of made-to-order items selection. It is also possible to edit items directly from the cart. | |

A new feature has been added to the categories. It is now possible to add a custom description to the category. This description is then displayed at the ordering menu for the selected category. | |

The QwickServe Embedded ordering interface has been actualized in accordance with the last QwickServe Terminal updates. The following features have been implemented: - Currently cashiers can search for the items and use navigation buttons when placing the client's order. - It is now possible to select if the client wants to dine in or take out his order. This option is displayed then at KDU in the corresponding order. - The client's cart is now displayed in the right pane throughout the ordering process. |

A new feature has been added to the ordering menu. It is now possible to use paging buttons to navigate through the menu. | |

A new feature has been added to the rooted devices only. New buttons have been added in the administrative interface and at the Terminal Service Console to exit QwickServe Terminal application for getting technical support or in case of other maintenance issues. It is not possible anymore to exit QwickServe Terminal application at the Customer's panel when ordering food. | |

Automatic nutrition calculation has been enabled for the Recipe Items. Currently when you select the automatic method of nutrition calculation, the recipe nutrition facts are calculated automatically. The total number of calories is displayed at the Recipe Item image. |

Minor improvements made to the process of adding made-to-order items order: It is now possible to select the next set only when the previous set is completed. The set adding tip is now red by default and switches to green when set is completed. Made-to-order item is now added to the order automatically when Done is pressed. |
