Accounting History Report
This section describes the specifics of accessing and interpreting the Accounting History report.
The report is permission-based. To view this report, make sure the Transactions.Accounting History Report permission is granted to your user in CStoreOffice®. For details, see Granting Role Permissions to Roles and Users.
Opening Report
You can open the report from the CStoreOffice® home page in one of the following ways:
- Go to Transactions > Changes History > Accounting History.
- Go to Transactions > Account Register > Account Register Report > Accounting History.
- Go to Settings > Company > Chart of Accounts > Account Register > Account Register Report > Accounting History.
Viewing Report
The report displays all changes related to the transaction's life cycle: creation, update, deletion. All transactions are displayed in their current state. Deleted transactions are highlighted in red.
The report contains the following information about each transaction:
- #: Transaction identifier.
- Date: Transaction creation date.
- Check#: The number of the transaction check, if any. For details, see About Checks in CStoreOffice®.
- Spend: The name of the account from which the transaction is debited.
- Receive: The name of the account to which the transaction is credited.
- Payee: Transaction payee, an individual who receives credit during a transaction.
- Memo: Comment left during the operation with transaction.
- Amount: Transaction amount.
Click the transaction, to view its changes story with the following details:
- Last update
- Who
- Action
- Comments
- Where
Filtering and Sorting Report Data
To get the exact information you need, you can apply filters to the report. To set up a filter, select one or more filtering options. Once the filter is set up, at the bottom of the filter section, click the Find button to display the report data by the filter criteria.
The report provides the following filtering and sorting options:
- Periods: Select one or both the following filters and set up the period range for each selected filter:
- Filter by last update
- Filter by transaction date
- Payee: Type a certain payee to get the report for this payee only.
- Class: Select the stations you want to view the report for.
- First end: Select the debit account you want to get the report for.
- Second end: Select the credit account you want to get the report for.
Additional Actions
To reload the form, click Find.
To restore one or several deleted transactions, select one or several transactions and then click Restore.
To open the Petrosoft University Portal, click Help.
To create a ticket, click Feedback.
