Connecting Wireless Barcode Scanner to SmartPOS

SmartPOS is compatible with the wireless barcode scanner - QuickScan QBT2400 imager.

To connect the wireless barcode scanner to the SmartPOS system:

1. Install the barcode scanner's hardware.
2. Link the barcode scanner to its base station.

For more information, refer to the manufacturer's official documentation.

3. Set up the interface for connecting the barcode scanner to the SmartPOS system. Scan the following QR-code:

   

4. Connect the barcode scanner to the SmartPOS system. At the SmartPOS unit:

1. Go to Settings > System.
2. In the System form, go to the Devices tab.
3. At the top of the devices list, tap the refresh button .

   
   Result: The connected barcode scanner is detected automatically.

   In case the barcode scanner is not detected automatically

   In the SmartPOS unit:

   1. Go to System > Devices.
   2. In the Scanner list, tap Disabled.
   3. At the top of the System form, tap Save.
   4. In the Scanner list, select Wireless 2400 manually.
   5. At the top of the System form, tap Save again.

5. Check the connection status in the SmartPOS unit:

1. Go to Settings > General.
2. In the Devices Status table, make sure the Scanner field displays Ready.
