How to Find DC Box IP Address.

Instruction for loyalty host.

1. DC Box 401 without HotSpot (Wi-Fi). IP-address can be found only in CStoreOffice® Cash Register : OPTIONS page or through Monitor.
   
2. DC Box 400 Series with HotSpot (Wi-Fi), version 2.7. Reboot device and connect to DC Box via Wi-Fi or through Monitor.
3. DC Box 400 Series with HotSpot (Wi-Fi), version 3.2. Reboot device and connect to DC Box via Wi-Fi, through Monitor or Retail360 (if activation was done through app).
4. DC Box 700 Series with HotSpot (Wi-Fi), version 3.2. Connect to DC Box through Wi-Fi or Monitor or Retail360 (if activation was done through app).

To use CR:OPTIONS menu, follow these steps:

• Choose Locations > General > Cash Register
• Select Advanced radio button
• In the block Direct Connect Options go to DC LAN area
• The IP address will be an address of the DC Box.

How to use a monitor

Connect a VGA/HDMI monitor directly to DC Box and further switch on it.

The following information screen will be shown.

The first line is DC Box IP-address.

How to connect to Wi-Fi Hot Spot

• To establish a Wi-Fi connection using your smart phone or a tablet, scan a QR code on the DC Box, as follows:

• To establish a Wi-Fi connection using a laptop PC and to connect to DC Box 400 series, follow these steps:

  Step 1. Search for the Wi-Fi network connection available “DC Box XX-XX", i.e. “XX-XX” stands for the last four (4) symbols of DC Box 400 Series MAC-address;

  Step 2. No user name is required, password is DC Box 400 Series MAC address in the upper case without a colon and a hyphen

  

• To establish a Wi-Fi connection with the DC Box 700 Series using your laptop PC, follow these steps:

  Step 1. Search for the Wi-Fi network available "DCBox WiFi"

  Step 2. Connect to "DCBox WiFi" network connection:

  • no user name is required
  • the network password is P3tr0s0ft* (you can find the network password on the DC Box 700 Series casing and also in the “Quick Start Guide” manual)

How to use Wi-Fi Hot Spot for DC Box 400 Series with version 2.7

Step 1. Connect to the Wi-Fi Hot Spot as described above.

Step 2. On your smart phone or laptop PC, open the web browser and type in http://10.10.2.1/ in the web address line

Step 3. Log in to the portal using the following credentials:

User name: admin

Password: SwHH3g

If DC Box 400 Series is connected by 1-wire connection scheme (through one common port) then the following Network Settings will be shown:

If DC Box 400 Series is connected by 2-wire connection scheme (through SIN/LAN) then the following Network Settings will be shown:

Step 1. Connect to the Wi-Fi Hot Spot as described above.

Step 2. On your smart phone or laptop PC, open the web browser and type in http://10.10.2.1/ in the web address line

Step 3. Log in to the portal using the following credentials:

User name: admin

Password: SwHH3g

If DC Box 400 Series is connected through a 1-wire connection scheme then the following Network Settings will be shown:

If DC Box 400 Series is connected through a 2-wire connection scheme then the following Network Settings will be shown:

Connect to a Wi-Fi Hot Spot as described above.
On the smart phone device or laptop PC, open a web browser and type in http://10.10.2.1/ the address bar.
Log in to the portal using the following credentials:
User name: admin
Password: SwHH3g

This is a default password. If the customer has changed a password, choose Cash Register : OPTIONS ► DC Password ► Web interface password.

How to use Retail360 for DC Box 400 and 700 Series with version 3.2

If the DC box was activated through an application, the IP address can be found on the device card.
