Managing Shelf Tags

Shelf tag represents a printed label which contains the main item data, such as item name, size, retail price, barcode, and other specific information, if required by the retailer. Shelf tags must be placed on the shelves in such a way that consumers may see them and read easily.

In Retail 360 Mobile, you can print the shelf tags in the following ways:

  • Using Brother printer: Brother printer is the only supported printer model now. To print shelf tags using the Brother printer, make sure the following conditions are met: Printer settings must be configured in advance. For more information, see Configuring Printing Settings for Shelf Tags.
  • Using PDF file: Save shelf tags into PDF file and print this file in a common way.

To optimize the shelf tags printing process, you can do the following:

  1. Create the shelf tags set.
  2. For the shelf tags set, configure the paper size that suits you better.
  3. Add as many items to your shelf tags set as you need to print all added shelf tags on the whole page.

For more information on how to work with shelf tags sets, see Managing Shelf Tags.
