Scanning documents

To add a photo or scan of your receipt, invoice, order, or other document, follow these steps:

  1. Expand the pages tab in the document entry form by tapping it.
  2. Tap Add Page button.
  3. Tap Take a Photo to capture an image with your smartphone's camera, or choose an existing image from your gallery.

Prerequisites

Grant Retail 360 Mobile app access you camera and gallery. When the app first needs camera or gallery access, you will be prompted for the corresponding permissions. Choose Allow to grant access.

If you have previously denied access to the camera or photos, you can enable it in device settings.

On Android devices:

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Go to app management.
  3. Find Retail360 app.
  4. Open app permissions.
  5. Tap Camera and choose Allow only while using the app (recommended) or Ask every time.
  6. Tap Photos and videos and choose Allow.

On iOS devices:

  1. Go to Settings > Privacy.
  2. Tap Camera and turn on access for Retail360 app.
  3. Tap Photos and turn on access for Retail360 app.

Tips and tricks

To ensure best readability of your photos, consider the following recommendations:

  • Hold your smartphone parallel to the paper.
  • Make sure the image is well lit with minimal glares and gradients.
  • The page must cover the entire area of the photo.
