Favorite Reports

If you frequently use some reports, you can add them to favorites. Favorite reports are displayed on the Favorites tab, and you can access them quickly, without searching for them in the reports list.

To be able to work with favorite reports, the user must have the Display Favorites tab at Reports page permission. For details, see Permissions for Reports.

To add a report to favorites, follow the steps:

  1. On the main CStoreOffice® page, go to Reports.
  2. In the reports list, click the tab of the reports group to which the report belongs.
  3. In the reports list, select the necessary report.
  4. In the report form, click the Save to Favorites icon.

Result: The report is displayed on the Favorites tab.

To delete a report from favorites, hover the mouse over the report in the Favorites list and click the delete icon on the right of the report.

To view a favorite report, follow the steps:

  1. On the main CStoreOffice® page, go to Reports.tab.
  2. In the tree on the left, select the location or division for which you want to run the report.
  3. Click the necessary report in the Favorite reports list.

Favorite Reports on Home Page

To let you quickly access popular reports or reports that you use most often, CStoreOffice® displays favorite reports in the central pane of the CStoreOffice® home page.

Depending on your current reports settings in CStoreOffice®, the central pane can display the following reports:

  • Reports most commonly accessed by Petrosoft users. By default, in the central pane of the home page CStoreOffice® displays 10 reports that are most commonly accessed by CStoreOffice® users. This information is obtained from Google Analytics. For more details, see Viewing Reports on Home Page.
  • Reports marked as favorite. If you have favorite reports, you can select to display these reports on the CStoreOffice® home page. For more details, see Displaying Reports on Home Page.

Displaying Favorite Reports on Home Page

If you have added some reports to the Favorites list, you can select to display them on the CStoreOffice® home page. As a result, you will get quick links to these reports and will be able to run them directly from the home page.

To select what reports to display on the home page, follow the steps:

  1. On the CStoreOffice® home page, go to Reports > Favorites.
  2. Hover the mouse over the necessary report.
  3. On the right of the report name, click the house icon (Show on Home page).

Result: The selected reports are displayed on the home page.

To remove a favorite report from the home page, on the right of the report name, click the house icon once again.

Viewing Reports on Home Page

To view the list of reports published on the home page:

  1. Open the CStoreOffice® home page.
  2. Scroll down to the reports area.
  3. Expand the Reports section.

Reports are displayed on the home page by the following rules:

  • The number of reports displayed in the central pane is always 10 or fewer. If you have selected to display more than 10 favorite reports on the home page, CStoreOffice® displays the first 10 reports from the Favorites list. To view other favorite reports, click the Show more link below the reports list.
  • If you have selected to display fewer than 10 favorite reports on the home page, CStoreOffice® displays only these reports on the home page. For example, you have 10 favorite reports and have enabled the Show on Home Page option only for 4 reports. The 4 marked reports will be displayed in the central pane on the home page. To view other favorite reports, click the Show more link below the reports list.
  • If you have not enabled the Show on Home Page option for any reports in the Favorites list or you do not have favorite reports, CStoreOffice® displays 10 reports that are most commonly accessed by CStoreOffice® users.
The number of reports displayed on the home page in this case can be fewer than 10. This can happen if the user account under which you are currently logged in to CStoreOffice® does not have permissions to view specific reports from the list of the most popular reports.
