Undoing Incorrectly Accepted Shifts

If a shift is already accepted and you find out that it contains incorrect data (not true or causing problems in the system), you can "undo" the accepted shift to remove its data from CStoreOffice® and revert it to the Pending status.  As soon as the shift becomes pending, you can open it, review it, make the necessary corrections, and then accept it again. The shift data is not used in any CStoreOffice® reports and calculations until it is accepted.

Please note the undoing shifts feature is permission-based. The Undo button is available in the Accepted Shifts section if the Allow users to undo CR shifts permission is granted to the user. For more information, see Roles and Permissions Management.

To undo an accepted shift:

  1. On the CStoreOffice® home page, in the Shift Reports section, click the location name.

    Result: The page with the shifts for the location opens.

  2. In the Accepted shifts section, click the shift you want to undo.

    Result: The shift is displayed in the Current Shift section below on the same page.

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Undo button.

The shift is removed from the Accepted shifts section and appears in the Pending shifts section. Now you can correct and accept it. For more information, see Reviewing and Accepting Shifts.
