This section shows any price changes that took place in the system due to promotions or retail price changes. These changes affect the book inventory of the store and need to be updated in the system.
If you work with SmartPOS, you can also track discounts in this section, if any applied at SmartPOS. For more information, see Discounts.
Use the price change report in CStoreOffice to review any scanned products that have different retail prices due to price modifications, price overrides at the POS terminal, or promotions. The report flags these as price changes. If a product's retail price is manually changed at the POS and does not match the price book, it will be flagged as an unknown promotion. Review the report to see scanned items, quantities, discounts in retail form, and the overall discount amount. This helps identify mismatched retails and unknown promotions for further review.
