Step 9. Start Serving Customers

Once your QwickServe infrastructure is set up, payment solutions are configured and the necessary payment methods are enabled, your customers can place their first orders, and your managers can process these orders with QwickServe.

Orders can be placed at:

Placed orders are routed to the QwickServe Order Manager. Managers working at the QwickServe Order Manager can process these orders:

  • Accept orders
  • Complete orders
  • Cancel orders

Placing Orders at the QwickServe Ordering Terminal

To place an order at the QwickServe Ordering Terminal:

  1. In the Menu view, tap a category whose items you want to browse.
  2. In the category list, tap an item that you want to order.
  3. If you select a made-to-order item, specify the item recipe:
  • Choose base ingredients that you want to add or remove from the item.
  • Select one or more add-ons to come with the item and enter the number of add-on portions that you want to order.
  • Some ingredients can be reduced to halves and quarters. Select the portion size.
  1. Once the order is set up, tap Complete Order to place the order.

Placing Orders Through QwickServe Mobile

To place an order with QwickServe Mobile:

  1. In the main view of QwickServe Mobile, tap a location at which you want to place an order.
  2. In the Menu view, tap a category whose items you want to browse.

  3. In the category list, tap an item that you want to order.

  4. If you select a made-to-order item, specify the item recipe:
  • Choose base ingredients that you want to add or remove from the item.

  • Some ingredients can be reduced to halves and quarters. This ability is applied to all ingredients in the set. Such ingredients are marked with the red circle icon displayed over the item image. To reduce the ingredient portion, tap the red circle and define the portion size that you want to order.
  1. Once ready, at the top right corner of the add-ons or ingredients list, tap the arrow icon.

  2. Select add-ons and special offers (if any of them are available for the item).

  3. At the review step, tap Add to Order to add your order to the cart.
  4. At the bottom right corner of the QwickServe Mobile window, tap the cart icon.

  5. At the bottom of the list, tap Checkout and select how you want to pay for the order: with a credit card or at pick up.

  6. When ready, tap Place Order.

Managing Orders at the QwickServe Order Manager

To process an order at QwickServe Order Manager:

  1. Select the necessary order and tap Start.


    As a result, the order state changes to In Progress.

  2. To complete an order at the QwickServe Order Manager, select the necessary order and tap Done.

To cancel an order at the QwickServe Order Manager, select the order in the In Progress state and tap Cancel.
