Please note that the date of new retail prices cannot be less than today's date.
- At the Apply New Retail step, review changes you are going to make and then click Apply.
- Make sure the successful message is displayed and then click Close.
After changing retail prices, ensure accuracy by reviewing items and accepting changes to push updates to the register. Print shelf tags and price change ticket request forms. Conduct a physical count of items on the sales floor to verify retail adjustments. Ensure retail values are updated in CStoreOffice® reports.
You can track coming and previous retail changes in the Postpone Retail Change Report.
To efficiently change retail prices for multiple items at once, use Price Groups in CStoreOffice®. A Price Group is a collection of items that share the same price. You can create a new Price Group by adding it in the Price Groups section. Use a tiered numbering system for Price Groups, for example, assign energy drinks to 100, soft drinks to 200, cigarettes to 500, etc. The numbering system should have gaps to allow adding more groups in the future. Once set up, changing the retail price for the entire Price Group updates all items in that group quickly.
