Using this method to set up your Price Book is probably the easiest. We will work with your inventory company (or we can recommend one), to do your physical store count. At the same time, they will be creating your Price Book.
Of course, if you do not have an item on the shelf that you normally carry, there will be no entry in the Price Book for it. All missing items will have to be set up by hand in CStoreOffice®.
Before starting inventory, ensure your price book is completely set up. Add all items into the system and begin collecting sales data. Assign categories and departments to items using the website to avoid double work and ensure accurate inventory and sales tracking. Inventory should be performed only after the price book is ready and some sales data is available. If the price book is not yet fully set up, you can do inventory manually on paper while continuing to set up the price book in the background. The system install can proceed as scheduled, and the price book can be pushed to the POS terminal once it is complete.
