This video shows how to import the parent-child relationship data in CStoreOffice®:

To import parent-child relationship data for items in CStoreOffice®, follow these steps:

1. Download the three-column Excel file template for parent-child relationships.
2. Remove the example data from the file.
3. Fill out the file with the following information for each relationship:
   • Parent item
   • Child item UPC
   • Number of children within that parent
4. Save the file to your computer.
5. Upload the file into CStoreOffice®.

6. If errors occur during upload, check that all items exist in your price book. Missing items will cause errors.

   Test the import process first with one item relationship to ensure correct UPC placement and data accuracy. After confirming the test import is correct, proceed to upload the full list.

   Break down import tasks into manageable chunks, such as handling price groups or promo groups separately, to avoid stress and errors. Rename items as you encounter them rather than all at once to save time and reduce workload.
