Loss Prevention Analytics communicates with the DC Box over port 12501. You need to make sure the forwarding settings for this port are configured on the local router.
To check the port forwarding settings for the DC Box:
- Open a web browser, in the address bar, enter the default gateway IP address and then press Enter on the keyboard.
- Log in to the router web interface using the credentials provided by your Internet provider.
- Go to the firewall and port configuration section and make sure the following rule is added:
Application Name Port Range Protocol IP Address Any name, for example: DC401 From 12501 to 12501 TCP/UDP Public IP address of the DC Box, for example: 96.66.164.182.
