Changing Your Password

There are two possible cases for changing the user password in CStoreOffice® that are described below.

Changing Your Own Password

To change or reset your own password in CStoreOffice®:

  1. Go to www.cstoreoffice.com.
  2. Go to CStoreOffice® sign-in form: at the top right of the page, click Log In.
  3. In the CStoreOffice® sign-in form, click Forgot Password?.

  4. In the Forgot Your Password? form, type your authentication e-mail and click Submit.


    Result: They system will automatically send an e-mail with the password reset link.

    Please note that the password reset link expires within 24 hours. To request an email with new password reset link, repeat the steps from 1 to 4.

  5. Follow the instructions given in the e-mail, to set a new password.
  6. The password should meet the CStoreOffice® password requirements. For details, see Password Requirements.

Changing a Password for Another User

To change a password for another user in CStoreOffice®:

  1. Make sure the user's authentication e-mail stored in CStoreOffice® is correct:
  2. In CStoreOffice®, go to General > Settings > Employees.
  3. In the Employees list, select the user you need and click it.
  4. In the Edit Employee form, go to the Personal Data section.
  5. Check the Authentication Email field. If the e-mail address is not set up, enter the correct e-mail address.
  6. At the bottom right of the form, click the Save and Close button.

  7. After checking the user's authentication email, ask the user to follow the Changing Your Own Password procedure.
