Placing Orders

After you have set up a menu, you can provide the device with QwickServe Ordering Terminal App to your customers so that they can place orders on their own.

Orders are placed in the ordering interface of the QwickServe Ordering Terminal App. To access the ordering interface, do either of the following:

  • On the main screen of the QwickServe Ordering Terminal App, tap Customer Ordering Interface.

  • To get to the ordering interface from the administrator's interface, at the top left corner of the QwickServe Ordering Terminal App, tap the Menu icon.

Placing an order with QwickServe Ordering Terminal App is simple and intuitive. To place an order:

  1. In the menu, tap the necessary category.

  2. In the category, tap the item you want to order.

  3. In the Your Order pane to the right, tap the plus icon to define the number of items you want to order.

  4. Repeat steps 1-3 for all items you want to order.
  5. Once ready, at the bottom of the Your Order pane, tap Complete Order.

  6. Select whether you want to dine in or take the order out. This step is available only if the Show Dine In/Take Out options screen option is enabled in the QwickServe Ordering Terminal App settings. For details, see QwickServe Ordering TerminalSettings.

  7. Select the payment method. This step is available only if a Square terminal is set up at the location and the Show "Pay with a Card" option is enabled in the QwickServe Ordering Terminal App settings. For details, see Enabling Payments at Square Terminals.

  8. At the last step, tap Done.

    Result: The order is placed and passed to the QwickServe Order Manager app. You can proceed to processing the order.
